Anne Shedlosky, DDS
Dr. Shedlosky was originally born in England where her family was stationed, as her father served in the United States Air Force as an oral surgeon. She grew up in and proudly calls Austin, Texas home. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Finance from McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, while obtaining her prerequisites for dental school. She found the balance between business and science courses to be rewarding. She pursued and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Despite graduating from an A&M affiliated school, she will always be a Longhorn at heart!
Dr. Shedlosky is proud to be a third-generation dentist and was fortunate enough to grow up around the profession. Throughout her life, she encountered many gratifying aspects that influenced her decision to pursue dentistry. She entered the field of dentistry because she continually witnessed what a lasting impact dentistry and giving back to one’s community can have on generations of patients. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is imparting knowledge and wisdom on the importance of proper oral healthcare which has a direct correlation to overall body health. She takes pride in being able to enrich the lives of others, while bringing a smile to their faces.
Creating a positive experience for her patients is of the utmost importance because she wants to ensure that every patient feels comfortable and cared for during their visits. Dr. Shedlosky also enjoys taking the unknown out of dental procedures for her patients, and has a gift for calming patients’ nerves with her comforting, communicative approach. Dr. Shedlosky strives to provide a dental experience free of intimidation and fear for every patient.
Dr. Shedlosky holds certifications in Nitrous Sedation, Level I Minimal Sedation, and Invisalign. She is currently an active member of the Capital Area Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
Outside of the office, Dr. Shedlosky enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling, baking, and swimming. She is also an avid knitter and will always have a project on her needles.
