- Impressions are made and a 3D model is created from the impressions. Then a series of clear aligners are designed and fabricated to move teeth in small increments.
- Patients typically replace each set of aligners every two weeks (with some cases this can be reduced to one week). A typical number of aligners for normal treatment will be between 18 to 30.
- The patient will return every six weeks for follow-up to monitor progress, make sure the aligners are fitting properly and deliver more aligners.
- Treatment time is different for every patient, but it usually takes about 6-15 months.
